New Market - Clarence Hester, 63 died Monday morning at his residence in New Market. He had been ill the past 8 weeks. Mr. Hester had been a farmer and was the custodian at the New Market Grade School. He was born May 29, 1905 in Browns Valley the son of John H. and Ida Kennedy Hester. On June 5, 1926, he married Glenna O. Divers in Montgomery County. Mr. Hester was a member of the Browns Valley Christian Church. He attended the Browns Valley School. Survivors include his wife; four sons: John of Hillsboro; David of Waveland; Danny of Indianapolis and Jerry of Terre Haute; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Anderson of Crawfordsville; and Mrs. Beverly Rickey of Ratcliff, Ky; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Riddle of Browns Valley and Mrs. Etta Friend of Crawfordsville and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. His twin brother, Lawrence died last Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reeves Funeral Home, New Market, Rev. Morris Fince and Rev. Jack McDaniel will officiate. Burial at Masonic Cemtery, Crawfordsville Friends may call Tuesday afternoon - kbz
